Currently, I am a Program Evaluator at the Mississippi State Dept of Mental Health where I am responsible for evaluating the Crisis Intervention Teams Program, a community partnership of law enforcement, mental health, addiction professionals and individuals focused on improving the crisis response system to reduce both stigma and the need for further involvement with the criminal justice system. I am also the project evaluator for the Mississippi Early Diversion Project (MS-EDP), a five-year Mental health grant funded project by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAHMSA). The MS-EDP aims to integrate existing care systems with crisis intervention efforts to divert individuals with mental health or co-occurring disorders from the justice system into appropriate behavioral health support, employing a culturally competent approach.

I am a Ph.D Candidate specializing in Policy Analysis and Program Management at Jackson State University, Jackson, Mississippi. I am actively involved with the United Nations Association as the Campus Chapter President advocating for better education and health policies for Mississippians. I currently serve as a board member at large for the Women Graduates-USA and a 3 times delegate of the Women Graduates-USA Organization to the UN Commission on the Status of Women. I am a current Graduate Fellow of the Mellon Foundation at the Margaret Walker Center, JSU.

I am the Founder and Executive Director of the Foundation for Social Program Initiatives (FOSPI), I lead a team in planning and implementing evidence-based programs aimed at improving the lives of disadvantaged youths. I possess exceptional relationship management skills, as I collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies and community partners, to advocate for our mission and secure support for our initiatives. My ability to engage with internal and external partners is invaluable in reporting on progress and addressing challenges around our thematic areas. Over the years, I have self-started and mobilized teams to strategize and formulate intervention programs and policy advocacy across various themes. I aspire to be a renowned policy and program analyst using the intersection of data and policy to spearhead interventions and programs capable of positively overhauling mental health, education and health outcomes.

I am a seasoned coach and trainer specializing in life coaching, career mapping, goal setting, and accountability partnerships. My expertise extends to training individuals and organizations on the critical skills of program evaluation and analysis, empowering them to make data-driven decisions for tangible impact. Drawing from over a decade of professional experience in public policy, research, data analysis, and evaluation across mental health, education, economic development, and healthcare, I’ve perfected the art of storytelling – especially within career and organizational settings. My unique strength lies in transforming complex data into compelling narratives that drive action, engagement, and measurable success. My mind is a powerful catalyst, continuously honing a positive mindset as an essential ingredient for achieving ambitious career and organizational goals. Combined with my exceptional writing skills, spanning grant proposals, research, petitions, reports, and more, I craft persuasive, evidence-based stories that not only resonate but also yield extraordinary outcomes. As a philanthropist and founder of a nonprofit organization dedicated to health, education, and poverty alleviation, I embody the principles I teach, using storytelling backed by rigorous data analysis to secure funding, build impactful programs, and inspire meaningful change.

Whether you’re an individual aiming to elevate your career, or an organization seeking transformative growth, my distinctive combination of coaching, analytical rigor, and persuasive storytelling will unlock your highest potential.
